Grantham A&E Update

Today news has broken from the United Lincolnshire Hospital Trust of potential plans to temporarily close Grantham A&E overnight to ensure continuing patient safety.  The press release can be read here:

This will inevitably cause concern to residents in Grantham and beyond who use the hospital’s A&E facility as well as potentially affecting Beat-It Members.

To this end, the Trust has been reassuring the public that it is in communication with other A&E providers, East Midland’s Ambulance Service and CCGs to ensure that patient safety is maintained and to find a solution to the crisis.

We would suggest that people look out for ULHT press releases to ensure they are kept fully briefed about provision of emergency services at Grantham Hospital.  As and when we receive any updates, we will publish them to this website as well as our twitter and facebook feeds.
